SHOES & BOOTS

HOW CAN WE REPAIR YOUR SHOES OR BOOTS

Alterations to shoes and boots

Sandals and shoes can be modified in a variety of ways. Boots that don’t fit snug around the calf or can’t zip-up over the calf? No problem – most boots can be flared or tapered. Zips and to other components can be repaired or replaced.

Heels and tips

Heels are subjected to immense wear-and-tear. Worn-out heals and tips are uncomfortable to walk on and damage the shoe. Heels and tips are replaced, to create a professional look.

Soles

Half and full soles, made from nylon, rubber or leather can be fitted. The current sole are removed, cleaned and the new sole fitted. It is important to replace a sole BEFORE it is completely worn.

Inner soles

Inner soles, sometimes referred to as foot beds, have the primary function of making shoes more comfortable to wear. These inner soles are replaced to make shoes feel as good as new.

Glue, stitch, valcro, zips and patches

Minor repairs to shoes and boots include a lick of glue stitching, adding valcro to tighten the fit, replacing or repairing broken zips, clasps and fasteners or patching rips and tears. The best course of action will be discussed with the client.
